Leinster Rugby Seconds Towns Cup
There was disappointment for the two local clubs in the opening round of the Leinster Rugby Seconds Towns Cup.
Portlaoise were beaten 22-10 by Clondalkin in Togher on Sunday despite leading 10-3 at the break, their try coming from Louis Duff and a penalty and conversion from Eoin Keane.
Portarlington also bowed out – they were beaten 24-10 by Edenderry on Saturday night.
