The current international Rose of Tralee Maggie McEldowney from Chicago is in Ireland this week for St Patrick’s Day and as part of her trip she visited a number of counties with the Rose organisers.
On Wednesday afternoon she met staff and guests in the Portlaoise Heritage Hotel before going to the Laois Shopping Centre where she mingled with shoppers and staff.
