Cistercian Roscrea are having an open day this Saturday for prospective students

Cistercian Roscrea

Following the announcement on Cistercian College Roscrea’s positive plans for the future, an Open Day has been arranged for Saturday April 1 to allow prospective parents and students to learn about the new schooling options being offered by CCR (day 8.30am-8pm, 5 day and 7 day boarding).

Whilst for some with very young sons, the final decision on school choice may still be quite some time away, we are very happy to invite anyone interested in finding out more about the future plans for CCR to attend on the above date.

SATURDAY, APRIL 1 –  11AM-3PM

11.00am-12.30pm – Check in registration for prospective parents and students in the College reception area. Tour of the College with staff, existing parents & students (tour to include classrooms, extra-curricular activity areas, sports facilities etc.)

12.30pm – Presentation to prospective parents & students for 2017 and 2018 commencement, including information regarding the exciting new bursaries scheme available from September 2017 across academic, sports and extra curricular areas

1.00pm – Prospective students to take part in Rugby and/or Hurling games organised by College staff, past men and students (Please remember to bring the appropriate equipment for taking part)

200pm – Refreshments and informal Q&A with staff and CCR Action Group members

3.00pm – Check out to include scheduling of follow up interviews

Due to the unprecedented interest in Cistercian College Roscrea during the last few weeks, we ask that you please email  admissions@ccr.ie or call the College on 0505-23344 by 5pm on Thursday,March 28 in order to confirm your attendance on the day.

For any prospective parents of incoming students who expressed an enrolment interest in recent weeks but who are unable, due to existing commitments, to make the Open Day on Saturday April 1, please contact us to arrange an alternative visit to the College after this date.

We very much appreciate your interest in and support of Cistercian College Roscrea and we look forward to welcoming you to our school in the near future.

Yours sincerely,
