Bridget & Eamon are heading to America – after the RTE TV show was picked up by a station over there.

Amazon in America has picked up the series and will begin streaming it shortly.

Bridget & Eamon, created by Durrow comedian Bernard O’Shea and Dubliner Jennifer Zamparelli, has run for two seasons in Ireland.

The show, starring the pair, gives an insight into life in Ireland in the 1980s in a hilarious way.

Bridget & Eamon originally began as a segment on Republic of Telly but branched off to have its own spin-off show.
