Mary Walsh (née Lalor)
Clonaheen, Rosenallis, Laois/Camross, Laois

Formerly of Northgrove, Camross. Predeceased by her husband William and son John. Deeply regretted by her daughters, Mary, Bridget, and Margaret, son Fintan, daughter-in-law Teresa, sons-in-law John, Seamus and Patrick, grandchildren, brothers Fintan and Michael and her sister Lizzy Scully, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and many friends. Mary passed away peacefully in the home of her son Fintan and his wife Teresa in Cloonagh, Mountmellick.

Reposing in Fintan and Teresas’ home from 3pm today. Recital of the Rosary this evening at 9pm. Reposing again on Tuesday until removal at 6.20pm to St. Brigid’s Church, Rosenallis arriving at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon. Burial after in St. Brigid’s Cemetery.

William Dowling
Mountrath Road, Abbeyleix, Laois/Rathdowney, Laois

Dowling, (Bridge Cottage, Mountrath Road, Abbeyleix and formerly Harristown, Rathdowney, Co. Laois and London). April 23rd 2017, peacefully at his residence. William (Liam), predeceased by his brothers Donie and Eddie and his sister Kitty. Deeply regretted by his loving sisters Mary-Anne (Creagh) and Lilly (O’ Connor), his beloved neices and nephews, grand-neices, grand-nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence (Bridge Cottage) this Monday evening from 8pm with rosary at 9pm and on Tuesday evening from 3pm with funeral prayers at 6pm followed by removal at 6:30pm to The Church Of The Holy Trinity, Rathdowney arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon followed by burial in Rathdowney Local Cemetery.

Beloved husband of Kathleen and much loved father of Dolores, Ber, Geraldine, David and Dermot. Predeceased by his son Michael. Deeply regretted by his loving family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends. Reposing at his home from 12:00 pm on Monday and Tuesday with rosary recital on both evenings at 8:00pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday in SS Peter & Paul’s Church, Monasterevin. Interment afterwards in St Evin’s Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Shane Hospital Portlaoise. Donations box in church. House private on Wednesday morning, please.

Margaret (Madge) Mulhall (née McLoughlin)
Beechwood, Ballintougher, Ballybrittas, Laois

Beloved wife of the late Pat and much loved mother of Rev’d James and Clare. Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughter-in-law Susanne, grandchildren, Nicholas, Jacob and Hannah, brother Jim, sister-in-law, Olive, niece, Sharon, extended family, relatives and friends.  Reposing at her daughter Clare’s house in Morette, Emo on Saturday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm and all day Sunday with rosary recital on both evenings at 8:00pm. Requiem Mass on Monday at 12:00 noon in St. John’s Church, Killenard. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private on Monday please.

Annie Murphy (née Dunne)
21 Marian Hill, Portarlington, Laois

The death has occurred of Annie Murphy (née Dunne), peacefully at St Vincent’s Hospital Mountmellick. Loving wife of the late Harry. Deeply regretted by her loving family Nancy, Tina, Joe and Seamus, sister Tessie, grandchildren , great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest on Monday from 7pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Tuesday at 9:20am arriving St Michael’s Church, Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 10am. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery. Family Flowers Only Please. Donations if desired to the friends of St Vincent’s Hospital Mountmellick. House Strictly Private Please.
