Gardaí are appealing for information after a house was burgled in Portlaoise.
The incident occurred sometime between 3pm and 8pm on Sunday.
A woman returned to her house on Jessop Street and discovered that thieves had gained entry to her house via the back door, with some personal items taken.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time is being asked to contact Portlaoise Gardaí at 057 86 74100.
