The sun was shining as hundreds of people took to the streets this afternoon for the Old Fort Festival which is taking place all weekend on Main Street in Portlaoise.
Live music, face painting, games, magic shows and a lively atmosphere was evident around the town for the afternoon part of the festival which was very family friendly.
This is the second year for the Old Fort Festival to take place in Portlaoise. The event is taking place all weekend with big crowds expected for more live music on Saturday night.
We were there to capture some of the fun and activities and we will be back again this evening.
