Appeal for information after two incidences of copper theft

Copper theft from two locations in Laois
Copper thefts are on the rise in Laois

Gardaí are appealing for information following two separate incidents where copper was stolen.

The first occurred at Scoil Brid Portlaoise sometime between Friday July 14 and Saturday July 15.

A copper cylinder and copper from the roof were taken during the robbery.

A copper cylinder was also taken from a house at Clonbarrow in Mountrath between Saturday July 15 and Sunday July 16 between 12pm and 5pm.

Crime Prevention Officer Graham Kavanagh is appealing for anyone with information on either crime to come forward.
