Peacefully, in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Brookhaven Nursing Home Ballyragget and his daughter-in-law Bernadette, husband of the late Maura. Deeply regretted by his loving son Patrick, sisters, brothers, daughter-in-law Bernadette, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Phelan’s Funeral Home, Durrow, from 2.00pm on Thursday with Rosary at 8.00pm. Funeral prayers on Friday morning at 10.30am followed by removal to Holy Trinity Church, Durrow, for Requiem Mass at 11.00am. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

In the loving care of the staff of Droimnin Nursing Home, Stradbally. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary, sons Michael, Brian and Kevin, brother Dan, daughters-in-law Deirdre, Hazel and Esther, grandchildren, sisters-in-law Mary and Olive, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Droimnin Nursing Home from 5pm. on Thursday removal at 7pm to The Church Of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix arriving 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Friday at 11am. Burial afterward in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Brigid (Violet) Carroll, Cardtown, Mountrath, Co. Laois. Died 18th September 2017 at the District Hospital, Abbeyleix. deeply regretted by her sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother, sisters, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. May She Rest In Peace. Reposing at her home this (Tuesday) evening from 8.o’clock, with Rosary at 9.o’ clock. Removal on (Wednesday) evening to St. Aidan’s Church, Killanure, arriving at 7.30p.m. Funeral Mass on (Thursday) at 12 noon, followed by Burial in Camross Cemetery.

Fitzpatrick, Killone, Stradbally, Co. Laois. September 19th 2017. Peacefully in the devoted care of St Brigid’s Hospital, Shaen and formerly in the loving care of Ballard Lodge Nursing Home. Bernard, beloved son of the late Patrick and Anne Fitzpatrick , and dearly loved brother to Bill, Anna, Moyra, and Pattie and brother-in-law to Henrietta. Deeply regretted by his loving family, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, The Salesians of Don Bosco. Reposing at Bill and Henrietta’s residence at Killone from 6 pm on Tuesday evening with rosary at 9 pm. Removal at 7 pm on Wednesday evening to arrive at The Church of the Assumption, The Heath at 7.30 pm. Requiem Mass at 11 am on Thursday followed by interment in the adjoining churchyard.

Moran (née Dowling) Bridget (Bridie) (Raheny, Dublin and formerly of Co. Laois) 16th September 2017 (peacefully) in the devoted care of the staff of Beaumont Hospital surrounded by her loving family, beloved wife of the late Tony; very sadly missed by her children Thomas, Yvonne, Anthony, Paul and Seamus, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law Susan, Anne and Wendy, and dear friend Michael, sisters Kay and Josie, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours. Reposing at Jennings Funeral Home, Oscar Traynor Road, Coolock on Monday between 4pm and 6pm. Removal on Tuesday, 19th September, to Our Lady Mother of Divine Grace Church, Raheny arriving for 10am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Fingal Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to St. Francis Hospice, Raheny.

Farrell (nee Bergin) 17th September, 2017, Margaret (Peg), Rathfarnham, Dublin 14, formerly of Redcastle, Mountrath, Co. Laois. (Peacefully) surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff at Tallaght Hospital. Predeceased by her granddaughter Shirley. Beloved wife of the late James and much loved mother of Marie, Anne, Paul and Alan. Peg will be sadly missed by her sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Billy, sister-in-law Sheila, extended family, relatives and a wide circle of friends. Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Templeogue Village tomorrow, Tuesday evening, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham arriving at 9.50 am for 10 am Requiem Mass. Funeral thereafter to Bohernabreena Cemetery. “House Private”.
