A shop in Abbeyleix has sold a winning lotto ticket worth €250,000.
Clelands in Abbeyleix confirmed on their Facebook page that Saturday’s Lotto Plus 2 winning ticket was sold in their shop – but they don’t know who the winner is.
“We in Clelands are delighted to announce the winning ticket was sold in Abbeyleix.
“We would like to congratulate the lucky winners, although we do not know whom that may be.
“Another great day for Clelands and the town of Abbeyleix.”
There was no winner of the main lotto jackpot worth over €8m or the Lotto Plus 1 which was worth €500,000.
The national Lotto confirmed that the winning Lotto Plus 2 ticket was sold in the midlands with the Abbeyleix store confirmed via social media that they were the shop in question.
The winning numbers were 5, 7, 32, 36, 40 and 41. The bonus number was 20.
