Delaney (nee Delaney), Cappalinen, Rathdowney, Co. Laois, May 19th 2017, peacefully at Tallaght Hospital. Margaret (Peggy), deeply regretted by her  husband Paddy and her loving family, Mary, P.J., Liam, Noel, Sean, Margaret and Patricia, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, her beloved grandchildren, Conor, Eoin, Aine, Annie, Cormac, Adam, Ronan and Luke. her sisters Nellie, Elizabeth and Mary and her brothers Martin, Paddy, Jim and John, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at her home (Cappalinen) this Saturday evening from 5pm with rosary at 8pm and rosary on Sunday evening at 8pm. Funeral Mass in Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Rathdowney on Monday at 1pm followed by burial in Bealady Cemetery. House private on Monday.

Oliver Doran
Campclone, Ballyfin, Laois

Died peacefully after a short illness surrounded by his loving family at St.Vincent’s Private Hospital. Engineer Staff of Laois County Council. Beloved son of the late Peadar and Maureen. Deeply regretted by his sister Orla and his brothers Tom, Con, Peter (Dunshaughlin), Seamus, Brendan, Declan (Portarlington) and Raymond. Deeply regretted by his sister, brothers, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, sisters in law, work colleagues, neighbours, relatives and his many friends.

Towerhill, Borrisokane, Tipperary/Clane, Kildare/Abbeyleix, Laois

The death has occurred of Ina Murphy (née) Phelan, Towerhill Borrisokane County Tipperary , formerly of Saint Brigid’s terrace, Clane County Kildare and Rathmoyle road Abbeyleix County Laois, on 20th 2017 peacefully at home surrounded by her family, after an illness bravely Bourne.

Predeceased by her son Richard, sadly missed by husband Louis, daughters Gemma Nevin and Sandra Markham, sons Jim, Damien and Stephen and brother Ger Phelan. Sisters Patty Kennedy and Biddy Nolan, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren and great-grandchild and extended family and friends.

Reposing at Saint Joseph’s funeral home, Borrisokane from 4pm to 7pm this Sunday evening May 21st. Funeral Mass Monday at 11am in Saint Peters and Paul’s Church, Borrisokane . Burial afterwards in Mainham Cemetery, Clane, County Kildare.

House private Monday morning please. Family flowers only donations in lieu to North Tipp Palliative Care Team.

Rememberance Mass will be celebrated in The Church of the Assumption, Vicarstown at 10 o’clock on the Saturday, 20th of May. Interment of Margaret Mary’s ashes to follow in Moyanna Cemetery.

Josie Phelan (nee Keenaghan), Patrick Street, Mountrath, Co. Laois – Died 19th May 2017, predeceased by her husband Eamonn, deeply regretted by her loving daughter Joan, son-in-law Peter, brother Sonny, sister Rosie, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home, Mountrath on Saturday evening from 7 o’clock, with Rosary at 9 o’clock. Removal on Sunday evening to St. Fintan’s Church Mountrath, arriving at 6 o’clock. Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 11 o’clock, followed by Burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath.

Formerly of Roskelton, Mountrath. Martin died peacefully surrounded by his loving family at The Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Beloved husband of the late Anastacia. Deeply regreeted by his family, Emily Kelly (The Borness), Mary Comerford (Mountmellick), John Joe, Anthony and Paul, grandchildren, sisters Mrs. Sally Fennelly, Abbeyleix, Mrs. Dinah Cody, UK, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends. Reposing on Thursday in Moloney’s Funeral Home from 6 o’clock. Recital of the Rosary at 9 o’clock. Removal from his home on Friday morning arriving for 12 noon Requiem Mass in St. Joseph’s Church. Burial after in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. House private on Friday morning please.
