There was a right crowd at a charity run in Rathdowney for Crumlin Children’s Hospital

There was a large turnout in Rathdowney on Sunday for a charity fun run in aid of Crumlin Children’s Hospital.

The event was organised by James and Trish Meagher whose daughter Ava, now aged 15, suffers from Type 1 Diabetes and has attended Crumlin since she was a baby.

James and Trish do a charity walk in the Dublin mountains every September, for which they must raise €1000.

Sunday was the first time for them to organise the run in their native Rathdowney and they now hope to make it an annual event.

Our photographer Oonagh Maher was on hand to capture some great images.
