The Cullohill girls ensured that their school didn’t go home empty-handed as they got the better of Emo in the Roinn 1 camogie decider.

Coming straight after the boys had lost the Roinn 1 hurling final (and it’s a serious achievement for a school to have teams in the top finals), the girls were impressive winners against Emo.

Lucy O’Connor helped herself to 4-1 and Brid Drennan got three goals as Cullohill claimed an 8-4 to 4-1 win. Rachel Deegan also chipped in with three points for play for the winners with Emma Delaney getting the other goal.

For Emo, Niamh Conroy scored two goals with Ciara Crowley and Chloe Keenan getting a goal each and Anna Hanlon, who was honoured with the fair play award, scoring the other point.
