In Pictures: Irish Farmers Journal visit Vicarstown to meet local businesses

The Irish Farmers Journal visited Vicarstown on Friday last to meet a number of local people in business for an upcoming feature in their Country Living supplement in the paper.

Journalist Laura Roddy was accompanied by photographer Claire Nash for an event organised by local man PJ Tynan, owner of Courtwood Books.

Among those to attend were Michael Fennelly, owner of the Piedmontese Beef brand; Kevin Scully, owner of the Merry Mill gluten free oats; Aisling Hurley, a digital media expert and owner of the Small Business Fairy; Jenny Miller, owner of Fifty Seven Boutique and Gift Emporium in Athy; Philip Crean and Orla Conroy, who own the nearby Barrowline Cruisers; Peter Munro, one of the local men behind Nubies Rapeseed Oil; James McGovern, a management consultant and managing partner of Sagitas; Steven Miller, owner of LaoisToday.ie.

The feature will be in the Irish Farmers Journal in the coming weeks.
