Appeal for information after O’Moore Park broken into overnight

Gardaí are on the scene in O’Moore Park this morning after a break-in occurred over night.

It is understood that part of the newly erected fence between O’Moore Park itself and the Training Centre was pulled down at some stage overnight.

The assailants then headed for the tuck shop and broke in there.

They stole a 40″ flat screen TV and a number of other items.

Gardaí are canvassing CCTV and appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have been passing that area at the time to contact them in Portlaoise Garda Station or email laoisoffaly.crimeprevention@garda.ie.
