James (Jimmy) Condron, Skirke, Borris in Ossory, Co. Laois. August 26. 2017 (peacefully) at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Funeral arrangements later.

Mary Charles (née Brennan)
Ashfield, Ballickmoyler, Carlow/Ballickmoyler, Laois

Mary Charles, (nee Brennan) (2 Marshall Road, Oxford, England and formerly of Ashfield, Ballickmoyler, Carlow). 17th August, 2017, (suddenly) at her brother Tom’s residence. Beloved wife of Hugh, much loved mother of Karen, Madeline and Hugh Francis and cherished sister of Tom, Mick, Paul, Sean and Paddy. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, daughters, son, sons-in-law, brothers, sisters-in-law, grandchildren Craig, Georgina, Emily, Amelia, Hugh and Siena, great-granddaughter Clara, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and dearest friends. Mary will be received into The Oxford Oratory – Catholic Church of St. Aloysius, Gonzaga on Tuesday, 29th August, at 5.30pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, 30th August, at 12 noon, followed by burial at Wolvercote Cemetery.

Elizabeth (Betty) Keegan (née McWey)
Beechfield, Portlaoise, Laois

Keegan (nee McWey) Beechfield and late of Market Sq., Portlaoise. August 25th 2017. Peacefully in the tender care of Kilminchy Lodge Nursing Home. Elizabeth (Betty), beloved wife to the late Peter and dearly loved mother to Margaret, Pat, Helen, Matthew, Peter, John, Rosemary and James. Deeply regretted by her loving family, sister Peggy, sisters-in-law Annie, Mary and Betty, sons-in-law Aidan, Michael, Martyn, daughters-in-law Maura, Marion, Emer, Helen and Helen, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends. Reposing at Keegans Funeral Home from 5.30pm on Sunday evening with rosary at 8 pm. Requiem Mass with be celebrated at 12 noon on Monday in SS Peter and Paul’s Church, followed by interment in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

Brendan Burns
Block Road, Portlaoise, Laois/Ashbourne, Meath

Brendan, peacefully in the tender care of the Staff at Kilbrew Demesne Nursing Centre, Ashbourne. Loving husband of Mary (Mai) and dear father of Brigid, Mary and Margaret. Sadly missed by his family, grandchildren Joanne, Michelle, Mark, Sarah, Shane, Lauren, James and Megan, sons-in-law Joseph, Seamus and Pat, sister Nell, his relatives and friends. Funeral Mass on Friday moring in SS Peter and Paul Church, Portlaoise at 10 o’clock. Burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery.

Patricia Lacumbre (née Ryan)
Parnell Cresent, Portlaoise, Laois
Patricia died suddenly at her home. Patricia, beloved wife of Eugene and dearly loved mother to Tracey, Jaqueliene, Mark, Eugene, Brendan, James, Ann-Marie, and infant baby Stephen (rip). Deeply regretted by her loving family, brothers John, Camilus, Tony and Ciaran, sisters Margaret, Jenny, Tina and the late Angela and James, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at her residence from 2 pm on Thursday with rosary at 8 pm. Removal on Friday at 10 am to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 11 am Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery.
Elizabeth (Lizzy) Sheeran (née Dooley)
Castlemarket, Ballinakill, Laois

Lizzy died at The District Hospital, Castlecomer. Wife of the late Johnny Sheeran. Formerly of Ballyglishen,Abbeyleix.Deeply regretted by her nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Phelan’s Funeral Home, Durrow. Rosary at 8pm on Wednesday evening. Removal on Thursday morning at 10.20am to The Church of the Assumption, Ballyouskill, for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
