RTE’s Carole Coleman is the MC and Portlaoise fashion designer Heidi Higgins will give a presentation at an event in the Heritage Hotel in Killenard this Thursday.
The event is part of National Women’s Enterprise day and is organised by the Local Enterprise Offices in Laois, Longford, Offaly and Westmeath.
The key speakers are Ramona Nicholas, who is the founder and Managing Director of Cara Group, a chain of 13 pharmacies, Margaret Jeffares, Managing Director of Good Food Ireland, and Bernice Moran, found of the Be Sweet Company and a pilot with Virgin Atlantic.
While Ramona is the key note speaker at 11am, it will be followed by an ‘On the Couch’ conversation with Margaret Jeffares and Bernice Moran which will be presented by Carole Coleman.
A presentation by Heidi Higgins of her new Online City Collection ‘ebiz line’ will follow at 12.30pm.
Registration for the event is at 9.30am and it runs from 10am to 2pm with a four-course lunch served at 1pm.
