A Ballylinan footballer has released a song ahead of Sunday’s senior football final.

Niall Walsh, who was a member of the Laois minor team that won the All-Ireland in 2003, has come up with ‘Let’s Raise A Glass’.

He posted the video of him with his guitar and singing his song on Facebook last night and it has get thousands of views already.

Niall has been a sub on the senior panel this year but played for the Ballylinan juniors who reached the quarter final of their championship where they lost out to eventual winners.

Ballylinan will go into Sunday’s game as firm underdogs and this will only be their second every appearance on the big stage.

Their last final came 30 years ago against Portlaoise, who they will play on Sunday.

But for now we can all enjoy this brilliant song!
