Redhill, Ballyroan, Co. Laois. Passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Sean, beloved husband of Bernadette and dearly loved father to Anne Marie, John and Brian, grandfather to Ayla, Aisling and Liadh. Deeply regretted by his loving family, sisters Peg Cahill, Nora Fitzpatrick, Bess Dowling and Sheila Duff, brother-in-law Fint, daughter-in-law, Marie, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Keegans Funeral home, Portlaoise from 6.30pm on Sunday evening with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Monday morning to arrive at St Patrick’s church, Ballyroan for 12 noon requiem mass. Interment afterwards in St Patrick’s cemetery, Ballyroan. House private please.

Mary Edwards (née Keane)
Castlefleming, Errill, Laois

Mary Edwards (née Keane) Homefield Park, Sutton, Surrey and formerly Castlefleming, Errill, Co. Laois. November 13th 2017. Peacefully following a brief illness at the Royal Marsden Hospital, Sutton. Predeceased by her sister Trishia and her parents Pat and Mary. Sadly missed by her husband Stan, her sisters (twin sister) Margaret Higgins, Agnes Powell and Martina Allen, her brothers Timmy, Johnnie and Paddy, her brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces and nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, her aunt, cousins, relatives, extended family and many many friends in Ireland and England.

Mary’s funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday November 28th in St. Christopher’s Church, Cheam, followed by cremation at South East Surrey Crematorium, Morden.

Margaret Fitzpatrick (née Phelan)
Clonmore, Templemore, Tipperary/Borris-in-Ossory, Laois

Fitzpatrick, Margaret (nee Phelan) (Dromard, Clonmore, Templemore, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Shanboe, Borris-in-Ossory, Co. Laois) – November 23rd (peacefully) in the loving and excellent care of the doctors, nurses and staff of the Regional Hospital, Portlaoise and previously in the care of the Matron and staff of the Villa Maria Nursing Home, Roscrea; dearly beloved wife and best friend of Joe, much loved and cherished mother of Martina and Brendan, adored grandmother to Grace and Cal, sister of the late Ann (Treacy) and Jim. Margaret will be very sadly missed by her family, her loving son-in-law John, her dear brothers Mick, Paddy, Joe,sisters, Mary, Angela, Bernie, Josie, Pauline, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, extended family, friends and neighbours. Reposing in Grey’s Funeral Home this Sunday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Monday morning to St. Anne’s Church, Clonmore for Requiem Mass at 11.30am. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Templemore afterwards. Family members’ flowers only, donations, if desired, to the order of Carmelite Sisters C/o Grey’s Funeral Home.

Peacefully in the loving care of the staff of St. Patrick’s Cheshire Home, Tullow. Deeply regretted by his loving brothers Seamus and Pat, sisters Helen, Mary and Ann, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his sister’s home, Mrs. Helen Bergin, Ballyroan Road, Abbeyleix, from 3pm on Sunday with removal at 7.30pm to The Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix, arriving at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Monday at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only by request. Donations, if desired, to St. Patrick’s Cheshire Home, Tullow.

Michael (Mick) Bergin
Coolowley, Errill, Laois

Bergin, Coolowley, Errill, Co. Laois. November 24th 2017, peacefully at home in the presence of his family. Michael (Mick), deeply regretted by his loving wife Nellie, his daughter Marian and his son Seán, son-in-law Alex and Seán’s partner Aileen, grandchildren Leighanne, Jessica and Ella, brothers Martin and Eddie, sisters Maura (Walsh), Joan (Standish) and Betty (Lawlor), sisters-in-law Mairead and Patricia, brother-in-law Tommy Lawlor, nephews, nieces, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at his home (Coolowley) on Saturday (all day) with rosary at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 1pm in The Church Of Our Lady Queen Of The Universe, Errill followed by burial in Bealady Cemetery. Please take note that due to the funeral there will be no 10am Mass in Errill on Sunday morning.

15 Aghnaharna Drive Stradbally Road, Portlaoise, Laois

Died following an accident (Staff of John Fletcher Electrical Portarlington). Beloved husband of Vikki (nee Doogue) and dear father of Jamie, Sean, Holly and Tom and loving son of Frank and Patricia. Deeply regretted by his wife and children, parents brothers Daithi and Aidan and sister Rhonda, father-in-law Tom, mother-in-law Vivienne, uncles, aunts, brothers-in-law David, Darren and Keith, sisters-in-law Lisa, Laura and Susan, neighbours, relatives and work colleagues and many friends.

Reposing in his home on Saturday from 5pm. Recital of The Rosary at 8pm. Funeral arriving Church of The Sacred Heart, Stradbally on Sunday for 11.30 Requiem Mass. Burial after in Oakdale Cemetery. Family time on Sunday Morning.

Michael (Mick) Delaney
Coolowley, Errill, Laois

Peacefully at Portlaoise Regional Hospital. Michael (Mick) deeply regretted by his sister Katie (Dowling) and his niece Mary (Sadlier), nephews John-Joe and Andrew Dowling, Stephen Delaney and Sean Delaney, sister-in-law Mary Delaney, relatives, neighbours and friends and all at Ealga Lodge Nursing Home, Shinrone.

Reposing at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home on Friday evening from 4pm with rosary at 6.30pm followed by removal to the Church of the Holy Trinity, Rathdowney. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 10.30am followed by burial in Rathdowney local cemetery.

Michael Donlon
Dublin/Mountrath, Laois

Peacefully in the loving care of his family and the staff of the Mater Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Bernadette and loving father of Michael, Mary Noelle (Doyle), Yvonne and Patrick. Sadly missed by his beloved Maeve, brothers Tom and Noel, sister Mary, grandchildren Conor, Ben, Seán, Cian, Gráinne and Finn, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

A celebration of Mike’s life will take place on Tuesday afternoon, Nov 28th, at 2.30pm at Glasnevin Crematorium Chapel, Glasnevin Cemetery, followed by a cremation service. No flowers please.
