Peter Bennett, (Publican and formally of John Murphy & Sons Construction) The Fountain House, Mountrath, Co.Laois. Died 2nd December 2017, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Vera, dearly loved Dad to son Peter, daughters Mag, Lisa, Karol, Joanne and Julie, cherished grandad to Ava, Sarah, Joe, Jack, Peter, Xavier and Aurora, brother to Kathleen and Martin, predeceased by his brothers James, Paddy and Billy. Deeply regretted by his loving family, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, all extended family, and his many friends.
Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home on Monday (4th December 2017) from 2pm with removal at 6.30pm to St. Fintan’s Church, Mountrath arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning at 11am, followed by Burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery Mountrath. House Private on Saturday and Sunday Please

Formerly of O’Moore place, Portlaoise. Died peacefully at The Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore. Deeply regretted by his loving wife May, brother Michael, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandneices, grandnephews, great-great-grandnephew, neighbours, relatives and friends. Reposing in his home on Wednesday and Thursday with Rosary on both evenings at 9pm. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
