Jennifer Gill (nee Lanham) Bealady, Rathdowney and formerly Marian Avenue, Portlaise, Co.laois. Died suddenly on the 11th December 2017. Deeply regretted by by her loving sons Shane and Ross, daughter Lauren, partner Declan Brophy, mother Maura, grandchildren, sisters, daughter in law, son in law, brothers in law, aunt, uncle, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at her mother’s residence, Marian Avenue, Portlaoise from 12 noon on Wednesday, with rosary recital at 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church Portlaoise for 10am requiem Mass. Interment afterwards to Bealady Cemetery, Rathdowney.

Clonterry, Mountmellick, Laois / Dublin
Anthony Christopher Marnell, Clonterry, Mountmellick (formerly of Dublin) Died 10th December unexpectedly. Predeceased by his loving son David. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Deirdre, son Tony, daughters Michelle and Audrey, daughter-in-law Bernadette, sons-in-law Trevor and Willie, sister Ann Canning, brother-in-law Ray, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral Home, Mountmellick, on Wednesday from 4.30pm, removal at 5.50pm to St. Joseph’s Church, Mountmellick, arriving at 6pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12 noon. Cremation after in Newlands Crematorium at 2.30pm. Family flowers only please, Donations if desired to the Irish Lung Foundation.

Valerie Watson, St. Anthony’s, Errill, Co. Laois. December 10th 2017. Peacefully at Tullamore Hospital. Sadly missed by her husband Russ and her son Tony and her daughter Julie, daughter in law Fiona, grandchildren Sarah, Catherine and Chloe and great granddaughter Lola and all her friends in Errill. Reposing at her home St. Anthony’s Errill from 2pm on Tuesday evening. Memorial prayers in Errill Church on Wednesday at 11.30 followed by cremation at Newlands Dublin, arriving at 2 o’clock. Family flowers only by request, donations if desired to Inistioge Puppy Rescue.

William (Bill) Dann, Shanboe, Borris in Ossory, Co. Laois. Dec. 10. 2017. Peacefully in the loving care of the staff at the Rivervale Nursing Home, Nenagh. In his 100th. year. Predeceased by his wife Nance. Deeply regretted by his daughter Nancy, son in law Noel, grandchildren Conor and his wife Samantha, Mark and his wife Serena, great-grandchildren Isabelle and Adam, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and his many friends. Funeral arriving at St. Mark’s Church, Borris in Ossory on Tuesday evening for prayers at 7.30 o’c. Funeral Service on Wednesday 13th. Dec. at 2.00pm with burial immediately afterwards in Skeirke cemetery.
