Died December in the loving care of the staff at St.Vincent’s Hospital, Mountmellick surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Paddy. Deeply regretted by her loving family Geraldine McCormack (Beechlawn Portlaois), Pat (Mountmellick), Jack and Tom, son-in-law Teddy, daughters-in-law Chris, Sheila and Deirdre, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers Stephen, Pat and Mike, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, neighbours, relatives and many friends. Reposing at St. Vincent’s Hospital Chapel, Mountmellick from 5pm on Friday until removal at 6.45pm to St. Brigid’s Church, Rosenallis arriving at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12 noon. Burial after in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Rosenallis. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to St. Vincent’s Hospital Benefit Fund.

Patrick (Pat) Dunne, Ard Mhuire, Rathangan, Co. Kildare and formerly Portarlington, December 13th 2017. Beloved husband of Mary and father of Deirdre, Paul & Brian. Will be sadly missed by his loving family, daughter in law Joan and Roisin, his adored grandchildren, Ava and Orna, sisters in law, brothers in law, relatives and friends. Reposing at his home on Friday (December 15th) from 4 o’clock to 9 o’clock with rosary at 8 o’clock. Removal on Saturday morning at 9.30 to the Church of Assumption, Rathangan for Requiem Mass at 10 o’clock, burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Rathangan.

Dunne. Coolnamona. Portlaoise, December 13th 2017. Peacefully in the tender care of the staff of St. Vincent’s Hosp. Mountmellick. Matty, dearly loved brother to Ciss Sutherland (Clonaslee). Deeply regretted by his loving family, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Removal from St. Vincent’s Hosp on Thursday evening at 7.15pm to arrive at St. Fintan’s Church, Ballyfin at 8pm. Requiem Mass at 11am on Friday followed by interment in Ballyfind Cemetery.

Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home Mountrath on (Thursday) evening from 4pm with Removal at 6.30pm to St. Fintan’s Church Mountrath, arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on (Friday) morning at 11am, followed by Burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery Mountrath.

Lorcan Poole (Galway) and formely of Rosenallis and Mountmellick, Co.Laois. Died the 11th December, peacefully in the wonderful care of the doctors and nurses in the University Hospital Galway and also An Teaghlach Uilinn, Moycullen and also his care nurses. Predeceased by his brother Peter. Very sadly missed by his brothers John Joe, Maurice and Pat, sisters-in-law Anne, Betty and Maureen, his nephews and nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing in Moloneys funeral home, Mountmellick on Thursday from 4:30pm with rectical of the rosary at 7pm. Removal from Moloney’s funeral home to St. Brigids Church, Rosenallis, on Friday morning for 12 noon Requiem Mass, followed by interment in St.Brigids Cemetery Rosenallis.

Jennifer Gill (nee Lanham) Bealady, Rathdowney and formerly Marian Avenue, Portlaise, Co.laois. Died suddenly on the 11th December 2017. Deeply regretted by by her loving sons Shane and Ross, daughter Lauren, partner Declan Brophy, mother Maura, grandchildren, sisters, daughter in law, son in law, brothers in law, aunt, uncle, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at her mother’s residence, Marian Avenue, Portlaoise from 12 noon on Wednesday, with rosary recital at 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church Portlaoise for 10am requiem Mass. Interment afterwards to Bealady Cemetery, Rathdowney.
