Formerly of The Ridge, Old Leighlin.

Passed away peacefully after a short illness, bravely borne, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her sister Lily Tunstead. Beloved wife of Liam and much loved mother of Liam, Michéal, Annette, Anthony, Marie, Colette, Paschal and Cathal. She will be sorely missed by her sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, her 23 grandchildren and her great grandson, her sisters, Nellie Shore, Old Leighlin and Mary Healy, Cruttenclough, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, and a wide circle of friends. Reposing at her home from 6 p.m. on Wednesday, 20th, with Rosary at 9 p.m., and on Thursday, 21st, from 12 noon with Rosary at 9 p.m. Removal on Friday, 22nd, for Funeral Mass at 1.30 p.m. in the Holy Cross Church, Killeshin, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society.

Kilteel, Stradbally, Laois

Peacefully on 18th December at The Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his loving family. Sons, Joe, Jimmy, Henry (Patrick), sister Anne, brothers Ted, and Tony. Grandchildren. Joseph, Gavin, Leanne and his great grandchild Hayleigh. Extended family, relatives, neighbours, and his many friends. Reposing at The Presentation Chapel, Stradbally from 4pm today (Tuesday) with recital of The Rosary at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 10am in Church of The Sacred Heart, Stradbally, interment to follow in The Heath Cemetery. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to The Cuisle Centre, Portlaoise. House strictly private.

Langford (Nee Codd) – (Ballask, Carne, Co. Wexford), Dec 17, 2017, Betty, beloved wife of Mick and loving mother of Stephen and Annette, sister of William and Seamus, Dolly and the late Mary; sadly missed by her family, mother-in-law Mary, son-in-law John, daughter-in-law Amanda, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, uncle, aunt, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. R. I. P. Reposing in Mulligans Funeral Home, the Faythe, Wexford Tuesday from 3pm until 9pm. Removal on Wednesday at 11.15am to Church of the Assumption our Lady’s Island for funeral Mass at 12noon. Burial afterwards in Our Lady’s Island Cemetery

Reposing at his residence on Tuesday from 2pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Wednesday at 11:10am arriving St Michael’s Church, Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Delaney (nee O’Connor) (Rathcoole and formerly of Stradbally and Portlaoise, Co. Laoise) – Dec 16, 2017, (peacefully), surrounded by her loving family, at Lisheen Nursing Home, Celine Emily, beloved wife of Noel and dear mother of Justin and Dermot; Sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughters-in-law Anne Marie and Audrey, grandchildren Aoife, Barry, Aidan, Faye and Abbie, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing on Monday from 4.00pm to 8.00pm with Prayers at 7.00pm at Lisheen Nursing Home, Rathcoole. Removal on Tuesday to the Church of the Holy Family, Rathcoole arriving for 11.00am Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to Saggart Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to The Four Districts Daycare Centre, Rathcoole.

Peacefully, at her residence. Wife of the late Joe. Deeply regretted by her loving sons, Andy, Eddie, Joe, Paddy and Johnny, daughters Mary and Elizabeth, brother, daughters in law, son in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at her son Paddy’s residence (Ross, Cullohill), from 3.00pm on Sunday with Rosary at 7.00pm. Removal to St Tighearnach’s Church, Cullohill on Monday morning for Requiem Mass at 11.00am. Burial immediately afterwards in Durrow Cemetery. House private on Monday morning please.

Phyllis Greenough (née Browne)
Derryhippo, Creggs, Roscommon / Creggs, Galway / Crettyard, Laois / Crettyard, Carlow

Formerly of Old Road, Doonane, Crettyard, Co Laois. (Peacefully), in the tender and devoted care of the staff at Cloverhill Nursing Home. Loving wife to Colin, mother to Marie and Angie, grandmother to Kayleigh and the late Chaeron, and sister to Anthony, Sean, Frank and the late Bertha. She will be very sadly missed by her family, extended family and friends. Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Monday evening from 6.30 o’c until 8 o’c. Removal on Tuesday afternoon to St Abban’s Church, Doonane, Co Laois arriving at 4 o’c (via her former home at Old Road, Doonane). Mass of the Ressurection on Wednesday at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
