Tom Fitzpatrick, Derrylusk, Mountrath, Co.Laois, (ex Ever Ready) Died 6th January 2018 at the Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore, after an illness bravely borne, surrounded by his loving family. beloved husband of Margaret, father to Kieran and Colm. Deeply regretted by his loving wife, sons, mother Sheila, brother Seamus, grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, neighbours, relatives and friends. Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home Mountrath, on Sunday afternoon from 3pm with removal at 5.30p.m. to St. Fintan’s Church Mountrath arriving at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 11am, followed by burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath.

Esther (Essie) Forde (née Foran)
Acragar, Mountmellick, Laois/Killimor, Galway

Esther (Essie), beloved wife of the late Tom, formerly of Killimor, Co. Galway, died peacefully Jan 6th in the loving care of the staff at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Mountmellick, surrounded by her loving family in her 90th year. Deeply regretted by her daughter Liz Whelan, Portarligton, sons John Joe Paul Ger & Marty, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Christy Foran, New Rd, Portlaoise, son-in -law, daughters-in-law, her very good friend Chrissie Lawlor, Cloncosney, sister-in-law, neighbours, relatives and friends. Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral home today, Saturday, from 7pm with Rosary at 9pm. Reposing on Sunday from 5pm. Removal at 6.50pm to St Joseph’s Church arriving at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Monday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St Joseph’s Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to St Vincent’s Hospital Patients Benefit Fund.

Beloved husband of the late Patricia and much loved father of Liam, Paul, Karen, Linda, Niall, Frank and David. Deeply regretted by his loving family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends. Reposing at the Chapel of Rest in the Regional Hospital, Portlaoise on Sunday between 6pm & 8pm with rosary recital at 8pm. Requiem mass on Monday morning at 10am in SS Peter & Paul’s church. Interment afterwards in SS Peter & Paul’s cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the friends of Portlaoise hospital.

In her 91st year, predeceased by her husband Jack, brothers Daniel and Michael, sisters Kathleen, Josie & Bridie. Deeply regretted by her family Bridget, Clare, Mary, Jim, John and Eamon, sons-in-law Ronan and Eamon, daughters-in-law Eileen and Pascaleen, brother Seamus, sister Eileen, sister-in-law Bridie, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.Reposing in Tierney’s Funeral Home, Roscrea on Saturday evening from 5.00 with Rosary at 8.00. Removal on Sunday morning at 11.30, arriving in St. Molua’s Church, Ballaghmore for Funeral Mass at 12.00. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only by request.

Michael (Mick) Bergin, Clonagooden, Borris in Ossory, Co. Laois. Died 4th. January 2018. (Peacefully) in the loving care of the Staff at the Sacret Heart Nursing Home, Crosspatrick. Predeceased by his brother Andrew, sisters Bridget and Margaret. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his sister Alice (Campion), nieces, nephews, grandnices, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, great-grandnephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Guilfoyle’s Funeral Home this Thursday evening from 7 o’c with rosary in the Funeral Home at 9 o’c. Removal this Friday evening at 6.15 o’c to St. Canice’s Church, Borris in Ossory arriving 7 o’c. Mass on Saturday morning 6th. Jan. at 11 o’c with burial immediately afterwards in Skeirke Cemetery.
