Timahoe delight as new bin service set to help keep the village clean

Timahoe residents are thrilled that rubbish has been collected from bins in the village, Cllr Tom Mulhall has said.

Mulhall says that Laois County Council will now provide a regular service to Timahoe which will help maintain its scenic look.

He said: “The people of Timahoe are delighted that Laois County Council has provided a service of emptying the rubbish bins in the village.

“The council has emptied the bins every Tuesday morning since last week.

“This is very welcoming news as Timahoe is a very scenic village with a very good tidy towns.

“So this will be a wonderful help to the people of the village.

“I was asked to make representations on this issue and I am delighted with the Council’s response.”
