Surrounded by her family in the wonderful care of the staff of Bethany House Nursing Home, Tyrellspass. Deeply regretted by her son David (Isle of Wight), sister Ann Tobin (Tullamore), brothers Michael (Cullohill) and John (London), family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Phelan’s Funeral Home, Durrow from 6.00pm on Friday evening with Rosary at 7.00pm. Funeral prayers on Saturday morning at 10.15am followed by removal to St. Tighearnach’s Church, Cullohill for Requiem Mass at 11.00am. Cremation afterwards. Family flowers only please.

Mary O’Rourke (née Mulhall)
Emo, Laois

Died peacefully at The Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise surrounded by her loving family. Previously in the loving care of the staff of Oakdale Nursing Home, Portarlington. Dearly beloved wife of the late Tom. Deeply regretted by her family Ann (Carthy) (Ballycrystal, Geashill, Co. Offaly), John Joe, Elizabeth Keane (Portlaoise), daughter-in-law Paula, sons-in-law John and Dan, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Jim (Dublin), nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and many friends.

Reposing in her home on Thursday. Removal on Thursday evening at 7pm to St. Paul’s Church, Emo arriving at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Friday at 12 noon, burial after in the New Cemetery, Emo.

James Butler, Graigueavallagh, Errill, Co. Laois. January 30th 2018. Peacefully in the wonderful care of the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital, Mountmellick. James, deeply regretted by his brother Fr. Kieran, his sisters Margaret (Duffy), Josephine (Lawlor), nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Rathdowney, on Thursday evening from 7pm with rosary at 8pm. Funeral Mass in the Church of Our Lady Queen of The Universe, Errill, on Friday at 12.30pm followed by burial in Rathdowney local cemetery.

Formerly of Leiter, Urris, Clonmany. Reposing at St. Colmcille’s Oratory. Removal tomorrow, Tuesday, 30th January, at 10.15am to St., Michael’s Church, Urris, Clonmany for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to St. Luke’s Hospital, Dublin. Oratory private from 10pm to 12 midday.

Kelly, New Rd. Portlaoise and Paulstown, Co. Kilkenny. Peacefully in the tender care of the staff of Abbey Nursing Home, Gowran. Margaret (Peg), beloved wife of the late Séan and dearly loved mother to Paul and Aidan. Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughter-in-law Lynnette, grandchildren Sarah, Robert, Jenny, Daniel, Lucy, Sam, and Aoife, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Pauls residence at Kellymount Rd., Paulstown from 3 pm on Tuesday with rosary at 9 pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

Suddenly, late of Boherard, Clough. Deeply regretted by his close friends and local community. Reposing in the Chapel Of Adoration adjoining the Church Of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix from 4pm to 6.30pm on Sunday followed by removal to St. Canice’s Church, Clough, Laois to arrive at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass will take place on Monday morning at 11am in The Church Of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Ballyglishen, Abbeyleix, Laois
The death has taken place at St Lukes Hospital, Rathgar, Dublin, of Mark Conaghan, Ballyglishen, Abbeyleix, Co. Laois, son of Paul and Marie Conaghan formerly, Letter, Urris, Clonmany.

His remains will arrive at St Colmcille Village Oratory on Sunday 28th January @ 5pm.

Funeral leaving from there on Tuesday 30th January @ 10.15am going to St Michael’s Church, Urris, Clonmany for requiem mass at 11am, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to St Lukes Hospital c/o any family member.

Oratory private please from 10pm – 12 noon.

Died peacefully at home in the loving care of her husband Paddy, son John, grandchildren, neices, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing in her from 8pm this Friday evening. Recital of The Rosary at 9pm. Reposing in her home on Saturday untill removal at 4.45pm to Ss Peter and Paul’s Church, arriving at 5.30pm. Burial on Sunday after 12.30 Mass in Ss Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

In her 92nd year peacefully in the loving care of the nurses and staff of St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Deeply regretted by her loving sons Eamon, Hugh & Brendan, daughters Irene & Maureen, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, 21 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.

Reposing at Phelans Funeral Home, Durrow from 2.00pm on Friday with Rosary at 8.00pm. Funeral prayers on Saturday at 1.15pm followed by removal to Holy Trinity Church, Durrow for Requeim Mass at 2.00pm. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please.

Predeceased by her parents, Ellen and John, her sisters, Sheila (Bree) and Mary Paul (Clancy), her brothers Frs. Pat and Con (Columban Fathers) Michael and Sean. Lovingly remembered by her sisters, Breeda and Sr. Angela O.P., and brother Seamus, CSSR, her sister-in-law, Betty and brothers-in-law John Kirwan and John Clancy, all her nieces, nephews and their families, relatives and many friends and her MMM Community. Funeral Mass in the MMM Convent on Saturday 27th at 12 noon followed by burial in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
