The community of Timahoe has been hit by the sad death of Doris Lalor, less than a year after her husband Dan passed away.
Originally from Ballinakill but living in Timahoe for a long number of years, Doris is survived by her son Willie, daughter Trish, mother Phil, father Patrick, brothers John, Colm, Declan and Eamon, daughter-in-law Karen and grand-children Ellie-Ann and Heidi as well as extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Doris passed away peacefully at Midlands Regional Hospital in Portlaoise.
The Lalor family are very well-known in the Timahoe area and beyond and heavily involved in local community life.
Dan died after an accident last August while the family were also hit with tragedy in January of this year with the tragic death of Dan’s nephew Liam Kealy.
Doris is reposing at her residence from Sunday evening at 6.30pm with Rosary at 8pm.
Removal on Monday morning at 11.30am to arrive to Saint Michael’s Church, Timahoe for 12 noon Requiem Mass, followed by interment in Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Timahoe.
