This weekend is another busy weekend of events around the county with table quizzes, an interesting looking “20 K  Drop” Fundraiser by Portlaoise CBS, Golf Classics and more.

Portlaoise CBS Fundraiser

Portlaoise CBS are hsoting a “20k Drop” Fundraiser in the Midlands Park Hotel to help fundraise students to travel to Africa over the Summer.

Friday, April 27

Golf Classic

Colaiste Iosagain are hosting a golf classic in Portarlington Golf Club on Friday morning.

Declan O’Rourke

Declan O’Rourke takes to the stage in Kavanagh’s pub this friday night at 8.30pm. Tickets are €25.

Knockbeg Student Reunion

Knockbeg are hosting a school reunion for past pupils in the Seven Oaks Hotel Carlow on Saturday night.

Slieve Bloom Walks 

The Bog Walk taking place at 2pm meeting at The Abbeyleix Manor Hotel. Duration:2 hours.

Camross Macra Wellness Walk

Camross Macra are hosting a wellness guided walk on Saturday 28th April 2018, up from Camross Scout Centre right up to Ard Erin highest point in the Slieve Bloom Mountains facilitated by local historian and Slieve Bloom Association guide Micheal Dowling. It is open to Macra members and non- members from within and outside our own club!Participants are urged to wear footwear which they are comfortable in and also to bring another change of footwear for afterwards. Meeting at 4pm in Camross Village to travel up together to starting point at the scouts den in Shrahane for 4.30pm. The walk will be at a steady pace and take around three hours. Refreshments will be served afterwards in Bergins, The Camross Inn.

Sunday, April 29

Memorial Run

The Tommy Ryan Memorial Run event takes place at 1.30pm sharp fromCreans in Vicarstown. All proceeds in aid of Laois Riding for the Disabled. Refreshments will be held afterwards.

Durrow Cake Sale 

Durrow Development Forum are holding a cake sale in the Presentation Centre after 11am mass in aid of the Cuisle Centre.
