The Laois minor hurling team to take on Dublin in the Leinster championship on Saturday has been named – and it shows two changes from the side narrowly beaten by Wexford last weekend.
Gearoid O’Neill from Trumera comes in at corner-back in a direct swap with Mountrath’s Killian Kirwan while Evan Hawkes from Clough-Ballacolla starts at wing-forward in place of Clonad’s Fionn Holland.
Hawkes is named at wing-forward with Tadhg Cuddy from Castletown moving to midfield where he will line out alongside Fionan Mahony of Abbeyleix.
Enda Lyons’s side lost 1-21 to 0-18 to Wexford in Wexford Park and have group games to come against Dublin this Saturday and Kilkenny next week.
Regardless of where Laois finish in this group they will proceed to the knockout stages as one of the teams in the stronger group.
Dublin were beaten 3-23 to 4-12 by Kilkenny in Parnell Park last Sunday.
The Laois-Dublin game throws in at 3.30pm this Saturday in O’Moore Park.
