McDONALD, Rev. Bro. Padraig SDB (Salesian) (Salesian Community, Don Bosco Road, Pallaskenry, Co. Limerick and Moate, Ballinakill, Co. Laois) – July 1, 2018 (suddenly), at his residence, son of the late Paddy; deeply mourned by his mother Margaret, brothers Brendan and Micheál, sister Marguerite, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, the Salesian family and the community at large.

Reposing at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Milford, Castletroy, Limerick tomorrow (Wednesday, July 4) from 2 o’c. to 3.45 o’c., followed by Mass at 4 o’c. Removal directly afterwards to St. Brigid’s Church, Ballinakill, Co. Laois arriving at 8 o’c. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in the Salesian Community Cemetery, Ballinakill, Co. Laois.

Leona Cuddy                                                                                                                          Meelick, Portlaoise, Laois

Died 2nd July 2018, at Tallaght Hospital, Dublin, (suddenly), daughter of Martin and Theresa, sister to Shane and Gary, deeply regretted by her heart-broken parents, brothers, grandfather, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

May Leona Rest In Peace.

Reposing at her home (Mellick, Portlaoise ) on Wednesday afternoon from 2.0’clock, with Rosary at 9.0’clock. Removal on Thursday afternoon to St. Peter & Paul’s Church Portlaoise for Requiem Mass at 2.0’clock, followed by Burial in St. Peter & Paul’s Cemetary Portlaoise.

House Private on Thursday morning please.

 Oliver Donohue
Grattan Street., Portlaoise, Laois

Donohue, Oliver (London and Portlaoise) June 29th, 2018 (peacefully after a long illness) at Charing Cross Hospital, London. R.I.P. Oliver, known as ‘Hammy’, is sadly missed by; his brothers Denis, Joe, Paul, Eugene, and Gerry; his sister Mary O’Brien; his nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, and by many relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his brothers, Finbar, Paschal, Fr. Brendan S.M.A., Fr. Dominic S.M.A., Frank and Raymond, and by his sister, Sr. Deanna O.L.A. He will be missed particularly by friends from the Hammersmith/Fulham Community Law Centre, Hammersmith/Fulham Labour Party, the Trades Council, Trade Unions, Irish cultural and social groups, and groups representing the unemployed, social justice, and Irish unity. Oliver’s funeral mass and cremation will take place in London later in July. His ashes will be placed in the family grave after a mass in St Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise, on a date to be announced.

Suddenly at Home. Tom will be sadly missed by his sons Adrian and James, sisters Nancy, Margaret, and Betty, sister-in-law Angela, brothers-in-law John and Patrick, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlecomer from 6pm on Monday. Vigil Prayers & Rosary on Monday evening at 8pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to Saint Abban’s Church, Doonane for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Catherine Kearney (née Dowling)
Mountmellick, Laois / Portlaoise, Laois

Catherine Kearney (nee Dowling), Mountmellick and Portlaoise died 29th of June 2018. Suddenly, after a short illness. Sadly missed by Tommy, sons Paul, Neil and Thomas and daughter Shánnen, brothers Sean and Bernard, sisters, Elizabeth, Caroline and extended family and many friends. Reposing Keegan’s Funeral Home, Portlaois, on Tuesday evening from 7pm with recital of the rosary at 9pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon in SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaois. Cremation will take place at a later date and Catherine’s ashes will be then be interred in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery Portlaoise.

Anna-May Dunne (née Keenaghan)
Clonkeen, Portlaoise, Laois / Ferbane, Offaly

Anna-May died on June 29th 2018, peacefully at Midland Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. She is predeceased by her parents Pat and Annie Keenaghan (Endrim, Ferbane). Anna-May will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving sister Irene Hade (Togher, Portlaoise), brothers Oliver (Ferbane) and Kevin (Endrim), brother-in-law Seamus, sisters-in-law Patricia and Kathleen, aunt Beenie Mannion, her beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and a large circle of friends. Reposing at her home in Clonkeen on Sunday (July 1st) from 3pm until Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Monday morning (July 2nd) to St. Mary’s Church, Ferbane, Offaly for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Kilrehan Cemetery.

Family flowers only, please. Donations if desired to Oncology Unit, Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore.
