Died in the loving care of the staff at Drormnin Nursing Home, Stradbally. Beloved wife of the late Denis. Deeply regretted by her loving family Pat, Ann, Marie and Gerry, grandchildren and great-grandchild Liam, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and many friends.

Reposing in the home of her daughter Ann and her husband Liam Fitzpatrick, Killone, Stradbally (The Heath) on Saturday from 3.30pm untill Removal at 5.30pm to St. Brigid’s Church arriving at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 1pm (One o’clock). Burial after in St. Brigid’s Cemetery.

Bill Moore
St. Fiacc`s Terrace, Graiguecullen, Carlow

Bill Moore of Sale, Manchester and formerly of 2 St. Fiaccs Terrace, Graiguecullen, Carlow passed away peacefully on 24th July 2018, in Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester, aged 78 years. Pre-deceased by his partner Jenny, mother Maisie, father Michael, brothers Tom and Tim and sister Cathy. Sadly missed by his sister Margaret Delaney and brother-in-law Liam Delaney, 21 Roncalli Place, Carlow, and relatives in Manchester and Carlow including cousins Madge (Manchester) and Eddie Brennan and Billy Piggott (Carlow) and all of his nephews, nieces and friends in Carlow and his great friends in Manchester especially his best friend Des.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph’s Church, Sale, Manchester, on Thursday 2nd August at 12 noon followed by committal at Altrincham Crematorium. Ellen McGrath (née O’Reilly)
Borris Road, Portlaoise, Laois

McGrath (nee O`Reilly) Borris Road Potlaoise July 26th 2018, Peacefully surrounded by her loving family. In the tender care of Kilminchy Lodge Nursing Home; Ellen (Ella) beloved wife of the late Michael and dearly loved mam to David and Alison. Deeply regretted by her loving sister Margaret, brothers John and Fr Tom, daughter-in-law Aisling, son-in-law Stuart, sister-in-law Geraldine, grandchildren Will, Molly, Emmy Ben, Ava, Adam, Aaron, Caoimhe and Abbie, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her residence from 4 pm on Friday with rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass at 1 pm on Saturday in SS Peter and Paul’s Church. Interment will follow afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portaoise.

Bowe, Erkina View, Mooreville, Rathdowney, Co. Laois. July 25th 2018. Peacefully at his residence following a long illness bravely borne. John (Johnny) deeply regretted by his loving wife Pearl and his family John, Angela, Anthony, Barry, Bernie, Mary and Ray, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, his brothers Paddy, Peter and his sisters Lizzy, Nancy, Maggie, Bridgie, Catsy, Teresa, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at his home today, Thursday, with rosary at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 11am in The Church of the Holy Trinity, Rathdowney followed by private cremation. No flowers by request. Donations to The Oncology Unit, Tullamore.

Michael Dunne, Ballymacrory, Clonaslee, Co. Laois, died on the 24th of July 2018 suddenly but peacefully at his residence. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing brother Pat, sister Anne Rickards (Robinstown, Navan, Co. Meath), niece Pauline, nephews Brian and Padraic, grand-nephews, grand-niece, cousins, neighbours, relatives and a large circle of friends. ​May He Rest in Peace.

​​Reposing at his residence on Wednesday evening from 7pm with Rosary at 9pm. Reposing at his residence all day Thursday ​with removal at 7pm, arriving to St. Manman’s Church for 7:30pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 12 noon followed by burial afterwards in St. Manman’s Cemetery, Clonaslee.

Died 25th July 2018, at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise, surrounded by her loving family, deeply regretted by her sorrowing husband Jim, brothers Joe and Tommy, sister Mai, nephew, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends. Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home, Mountrath on Thursday evening from 5.0’clock, with Removal at 6.30p.m. to St. Fintan’s Church, Mountrath, arriving at 7.0’clock. Requiem Mass on Friday morning at 11.0’clock, followed by Burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery. House Strictly Private Please.

Ryan Hall Acragar, Mountmellick, Co. Laois & formerly of Cushlawn Park, Tallaght, Co.Dublin. Died July 24th 2018 following an accident. Predeceased by his father Derek. Deeply regretted by his mother Susan, stepfather Ger, brothers Derek & Stephen and his sister Rachel, grandmothers Theresa and Anne, grandfather Peter, uncles, aunts, cousins, neighbours, relatives and many friends. Rest in Peace.

Reposing in his home from 4pm on Thursday. Recital of the Rosary at 9pm. Removal on Friday to St. Joseph’s Church, Mountmellick arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. Cremation Service after at 12.20pm in Newlands Cross Crematorium. Donations, if desired, to St. John Bosco’s Boxing Club, Mountmellick.

Beloved wife of the late Patrick and predeceased by her son William. Much loved mother of Gean, Catherine, Ann-Marie, Patrick and Teresa. Deeply regretted by her loving family, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends. Reposing at her home on Thursday from 4pm with rosary recital at 8pm on Thursday evening. Remmoval on Friday evening at 6.30pm to arrive at SS Peter & Paul’s Church for 7pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 10am. Interment afterwards in SS Peter & Paul’s Cemetery.

Stanley née Hayes School Road, Errill Co. Laois. July 25th 2018. Peacefully in the wonderful care of the doctors, nurses and staff of Portlaoise Regional Hospital. Olive Muriel predeceased by her husband Bert. Sadly mourned by her loving family Ann, Robert, Alice, Muriel and Ken, sons-in-law, grandchildren Kellie, Andrea and Dean, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her daughter Ann’s residence Johnstown Glebe, Errill Road, Rathdowney on Friday from 5pm with funeral prayers at 8pm. Funeral service in Rathsaran Church on Saturday at 2pm followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. “The Day Thou Gavest Lord Is Ended”.
