Died peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her parents Statia and Martin, her brother Henry, her sister in law Carmel and her nephew Alan. Deeply regretted by her loving brothers Tom, Pat, Martin and Denis, sister Statia, sister in law Ber, brother in law Peter, her devoted nieces and nephews, Helen, Mary, Martin, Sharon, Paul, Colm, Carmel, Kevin, Ciara, Lynda, Shane and Adrian, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours, former work colleagues and friends. R.I.P.

Reposing at her home from 2pm on Thursday afternoon. Funeral prayers on Thursday evening at 7.30pm, followed by removal to the Church of the Assumption Ballyouskill. Requiem Mass on Friday morning at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please.

62 St Joseph’s Tce, Mountmellick, Laois

Died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at The Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore. Staff memebr of St Vincent’s Hospital, Mountmellick.

Sadly missed by her loving parents, Pete and Helen, her sisters Karen, Wendy & Debbie, her brothers Brian, Colm & Owen, nieces Jennifer, Ava, Kellie, Rebecca & Oonagh, nephews Conor, David, Brian, Cillian, Robert, Tadgh, Harry & Adam, sisters-in-law Louise Kelly & Mary McEvoy, relatives, family and a large circle of family and friends. R.I.P.

Reposing today, Wednesday 8th, in Moloney’s Funeral Home from 6pm with Rosary at 9pm. Removal on Thursday morning at 10.30am to St Joseph’s Church Moutmellick, arriving for 11am requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St Joseph’s cemetery. House private please.

Mary (May) Bernie (née Frens)
Chantiere Gate, Portlaoise, Laois

Died peacefully in the loving care of The Staff of St Vincent’s Hospital, Mountmellick. Funeral arrangements will be published on Tuesday. Daughter of The Late Dennis & Margaret Ferns (North Circular Road, Dublin) and sister of Bunty Ferns. Predeceased by her husband Niall Brendan Beirne (Pharmacist, Portarlington) and her late daughter Baby Brigid Beirne.

Sadly missed by her niece Rita & husband Charlie, Nephews Paddy, Wally and John, Her beloved Ann, devoted friends Miriam and Nancy, Cousins The Woods Family (Durrow Co. Laois), The Bergin Family (Grennan, Attanagh Co. Laois) and The Walsh Family (Formally of North King Street Dublin), friends and The Wonderfull Staff of St Vincent’s Hospital Mountmellick where she resided for the last 13 years. Rest in Peace.

Reposing on Wednesday morning in St. Vincent’s Hospital, Mountmellick from 11am with prayers at 12.30pm. Removal to Glasnevin Cemetery for burial at 2.30pm.

Laura Fitzpatrick (nee Phelan), Rathdowney Road, Borris in Ossory, Co. Laois and TLC Nursing Home Santry, Dublin and formerly Beaumont, Dublin. August 4th. 2018. Unexpectedly at Beaumont Hospital. Beloved wife of the Late Jim. Sadly missed by her sister Joan, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Guilfoyle’s Funeral Home Castletown, Mountrath, this Tuesday evening from 5 o’c with removal at 7 o’c to St. Canice’s Church, Borris in Ossory arriving at 7. 30 o’c. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning Aug. 8th. at 11 o’c with burial immediately afterwards in Derrinsallagh Cemetery, Borris in Ossory.

Ellen (Elsie) O’Shea (née Simms)
Church St, Ballinakill, Laois

Ellen (Elsie) died on Sunday 5th August at The Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Christy, sons Billy, Kevin, Paul, daughters Anne and Susan, sister Nancy, sons-in-law Gerard and Eric, daughters-in-law Sheila and Carina, brother-in-law Ron, nephews and nieces, grandchildren Roisin, Padraig, Eimear, Robyn, Emma, William, Chris, Ciara, Sam and Lauryn, and a host of other relatives and friends. Reposing at The Chapel of Rest, Portlaoise Hospital from 4pm on Tuesday, with Rosary at 6.45pm. Removal at 7.30pm to St. Brigid’s Church, Ballinakill, arriving at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am with interment afterwards in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Ballinakiil.

Husband of the late Margaret. Deeply regretted by his loving family Michael, Sarah, Kathleen and Anne, brother Pat, sons-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grand-children, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence from 5pm on Tuesday evening with Rosary at 8pm. Removal at 1.30pm on Wednesday afternoon to arrive at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Luggacurren, for Requiem Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Ballyadams. House private Wednesday morning please.

Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home, Portlaoise, on Saturday evening from 7pm with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Sunday to SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 12:30pm Requiem Mass. Interment will follow afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

In the loving care of the staff of Oakdale Nursing Home Portarlington. Predeceased by her loving husband Anthony. Deeply missed by her loving family Anne, Patricia, Deirdre, Brendan, Rita and Siobhán, her brother Jack, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May She Rest In Peace. Reposing at Mahers Chapel of Rest Portarlington on Sunday from 3pm with Removal at 6:20pm arriving St Michael’s Church Portarlington at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Monday at 10am followed by cremation at Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross Dublin at 1:30pm.

KIRWAN (née Fingleton), (Kimmage, Dublin 12 and Laois) August 2nd 2018 (peacefully) in the affectionate care of the staff at Elm Hall Nursing Home, Celbridge, Kathleen (Phill), beloved wife of the late Matthew, loving mother of Anne, Matthew, Jim and Mariesa and grandmother to Peter, Niamh, Eimear, David, Louisa, Eoin and Andrew. Sadly missed by all who knew her and loved her.

Reposing at Elm Hall Nursing Home, Celbridge on Friday evening (Aug 3rd) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal to the Church of the Holy Spirit, Kimmage Manor, Whitehall Road on Saturday morning (Aug 4th) arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.00am followed by burial in Mount Jerome Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland.

Reposing at his residence from 4 pm on Thursday with rosary at 8 pm. Requiem Mass at 11.30 pm on Friday in SS Peter and Paul’s Church. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.
