Anton (Better known as Anto) Heffernan, Hillcrest, Ringstown, Mountrath, Co. Laois died September 30th 2018. Deeply regretted by his loving parents Anthony and Dolores, brothers, sisters, extended family and his many friends. Rest in Peace. The complete obituary notice and arrangements will be announced on Monday afternoon. House Private Please.

Patrick Ryan
Ridge Road, Portlaoise, Laois

Peacefully, after a short illness, at Naas Regional Hospital. Paddy, beloved husband of the late Eileen and loving father to Benny, Thomas, James, John-Joe, Patricia and Derek. Deeply regretted by his loving family, brother-in-law John Buggy and his wife Maura, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home from 6.30pm on Sunday evening with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Monday morning to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s church for 10am Mass. Interment afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery.

Maura Gillman (née Power)
“Duhallow”, Cooperhill, Ballickmoyler, Carlow / Ballickmoyler, Laois

Maura Gillman died peacefully in the loving care of Signature Care, Killerig. Retired teacher, Presentation College. Treasured wife of Paddy and much loved mother of Marie, Dick and Michael. Predeceased by her sisters Pheny and Delma and granddaughter Kate. Sadly missed by her husband, daughter, sons, son-in-law William, daughters-in-law Stephanie and Marie, grandchildren Elaine, Eimear, Stephen, Patrick, Jack, David, Conor and Sarah, great-grandchildren Sam and Isabelle, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at her home (Eircode R93 D7W3) from 4pm on Saturday concluding with prayers at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 1pm in St. Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery. House private on Sunday morning. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to the Carlow County Hospice Fund.

Died peacefully at The Midland Regional Hospital, Portlaoise, Co. Laois surrounded by her loving family.

Reposing on Saturday from 4pm in The Chapel of Rest at The Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Removal at 5pm to St. Peter & Paul’s Church, Portlaoise ariving for 5.30pm. Requiem Mass on Sunday at 12.30pm. Burial afterwards in St. Peter & Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

Unexpectedly at his residence. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Celia, daughter Margaret, sons Joseph and John, sister Maura, son-in-law Seamus, daughter-in-law Anita, grandchildren Faith, Jack and Marc, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at Mahers Chapel of Rest Portarlington on Friday from 7pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Saturday at 10:20am arriving St Michael’s Church Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 11am. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery Portarlington.

New Road, Portlaoise, Laois / Killeigh, Offaly

Recently of Fenter, Killeigh. Peacefully at the Regional Hospital, Tullamore. Malachy will be sadly missed by his loving family Colm, Sinead, Fiona, Malachy jnr and Brian, their mother Jill, his loving partner Colette, son-in-law Kieran, daughter-in-law Anita, grandchildren Emma, Ciara, Conor, Orla, Dylan, Katie and Cillian, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the home of his daughter Sinead in Fenter, Killeigh, on Friday from 5pm until Rosary at 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning to St. Patrick’s Church, Killeigh, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10.30am. Burial after Mass in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise at 1pm.

House Private on Saturday morning.

Lorretta Dunne (née Conroy)
Clonurke, Ballyfin, Laois

The death has occurred of Loretta Dunne (nee Conroy), Clonurk, Ballyfin, Co. Laois. Formerly of Derrycloney, Mountmellick Co. Laois. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the tender care of the staff in Oakdale Nursing Home. Wife of the late Dan. Deeply regretted by her son John Joe, her daughters Maura, Ann and Geraldine, her brother David, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, sister-in-law, neighbours, relatives and many friends.

Reposing in the home of her daughter Geraldine at Clonurk Ballyfin (eircode R32V2X7) on Friday evening from 5pm. Recital of the Rosary at 9pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday 29th of September at 11am in St Fintan’s Church, Ballyfin followed by burial in St Fintan’s Cemetery. House private on Saturday morning please.
