LISTEN: Camross victory, the Ross King injury and we explain how we got the Bruno McCormack story so badly wrong

Brought to you in association with Breslin’s SuperValu, Abbeyleix and Rathdowney

We’ve reached the end of our hurling Podcasts for 2018 – and what a season it was.

Yesterday saw the culmination of the domestic calendar with the Minor, Senior A and Senior finals down for decision.

Clough-Ballacolla-Mountrath triumphed in the minor final against The Harps and the men from Durrow and Cullohill were in no luck a couple of hours later.

They lost out in the Senior A decider against Portlaoise which was a second triumph at this level in the last four years for the Town.

And then we had the showpiece event as Camross claimed their 26th Bob O’Keeffe Cup with a two point victory over Rathdowney-Errill.

Danny Owens’ men became the first side since Castletown in 2003 to win back-to-back titles and have now won the league and championship two years on the trot.

But the game did not pass without incident and as well as rounding up all the action from the game, we discuss the sickening injury picked up by Laois hurling captain Ross King.

Joining host Brian Moss is the three wise men of GAA analysis – LaoisToday’s Steven Miller, Alan Hartnett and hurling analyst Tommy Buggy, also of Property Partners in Portlaoise.

We also clear up just how we got THAT Bruno McCormack story so badly wrong on Saturday – and issue an apology to his club and the player himself.
