Irish Wheelchair Association Portlaoise is looking for help with national campaign

The Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA) Portlaoise has launched its part in their largest national fundraising campaign.

The highly popular ‘Angels’ campaign is back.

Angel pins will be sold on streets throughout Ireland, and the IWA are looking for volunteers to sell these pins.

The aim is to generate the funds necessary to continue to maintain the level of essential services provided by the Irish Wheelchair Association.

People with physical disabilities and their families in Laois benefit from large annual campaigns such as this one.

IWA provides a large range of services that help people with physical disabilities live the life of their choosing including driving tuition, personal assistance, day services, sport & activities and independent living.

How you can help

The campaign takes place on Thursday 8 November and Friday 9 November.

The Portlaoise branch are looking for volunteers to spare some time or arrange an event in your area.

For anyone interested in helping this worthy cause, please contact Tina Ging or Ray Moore on 05786 94030.
