O’Moore’s Leinster semi final postponed due to bereavement

The Leinster Intermediate camogie championship semi final between O’Moore’s and Young Ireland’s has been postponed due to a bereavement.

The club revealed the sad news on their Facebook page this morning.

Gerry O’Sullivan, dad of player Lorna, passed away last night.

The club said: “O’Moores Camogie club wish to extend their deepest sympathies to Lorna O’Sullivan (O’Moores senior player) and her family on the death of Lorna’s father, Gerry O’Sullivan.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with Lorna and her family at this sad time. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

As a mark of respect, the Leinster semi final scheduled for tomorrow in Rosenallis between O’Moores and Young Ireland’s has been postponed.

“It will be rescheduled for a later date.”
