Liam Linden, aged 63 years, The Oak, O’Moore’s Forest, Mountmellick, Co. Laois R32YR90, formerly Rockcorry Co. Monaghan. Founding partner of 4 Aces Cash & Carry Portlaoise. Died peacefully at home on Saturday, December 1st, in the loving care of his wife and family. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Dolores, son Barry, daughter Gráinne, granddaughter Grace, Barry’s partner Caroline, brothers Hughie and Ciarán, sisters Sr Mairead LSA, Kathleen, Irene and Brig, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, grand nephews, grand nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends. Reposing on Sunday from 3pm to 6pm in Moloney’s Funeral Home, Mountmellick. Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Monday in St Fintan’s Church, Ballyfin. Burial afterwards in St Fintan’s Cemetery, Ballyfin.

House private.

Mary Redmond, (neé Bergin), Redcastle, Mountrath, Co.Laois. Died 1st December 2018, (unexpectedly) at her home. Deeply regretted by her husband Peter, daughters Margaret, Nuala and Carmel, sons Donal and Peter, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home, Mountrath, on Sunday evening from 6 o’clock, with Rosary at 9 o’clock. Removal on Monday morning to St. Fintan’s Church Mountrath, for Requiem Mass at 11 o’clock, followed by burial in Clonenagh Cemetery.

Ridge rd, Portlaoise, Laois

Conroy (nee Bergin) Ridge Road, Portlaoise. Peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Mary, beloved wife of the late Christy. Cherished mother to Ciarán (Connie), Kevin, Mag and the late Deirdre. Loving grandmother to Patrick, Ciara, Christopher, Eoin and Kate. Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughters-in-law, Noreen and Trish, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at her residence from 5pm on Sunday evening with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Monday morning to SS Peter and Paul’s Church to arrive for 12 noon Mass. Interment will follow afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery. House private on Monday morning, please.

St Brigid’s Place, Portlaoise and formerly Dereen, Cloneygowan, Co. Offaly. Kevin, beloved husband of Pamela and dearly loved father to Roger, Rosie, Melanie, Aaron and Chloe. Deeply regretted by their partners Una, Marc, Rory and Amy. Sadly missed by his brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends, colleagues in St Fintan’s Hospital, Portlaoise.

Reposing at Keegans Funeral Home, Portlaoise from 6 pm on Saturday with rosary at 8 pm. Removal on Sunday to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 12.30 pm Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

Lalor Denis, The Downs, Stradbally Road, Portlaoise and formerly Ballyclider. Peacefully, at the Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Deeply regretted by his brother Martin, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home, Portlaoise, from 7pm on Sunday evening with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Monday to SS Peter and Paul’s Church to arrive for 10am requiem Mass. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

John Bowell
Oldtown, Abbeyleix, Laois

Peacefully at his residence. Predeceased by his father Victor. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Helen, sons Ray and Brian, mother Gemma, brother Cormac, sisters Catherine and Rebecca, grandchildren Aidan and Emily, his step-children Oisin and Cailin and their children Cian, Kealan, Dallan and Lile, uncle, aunts, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at his residence from 6pm today, Wednesday, and from 12 noon on Thursday with recital of the Rosary at 8 pm Thursday. Removal to The Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix for 12 noon Requiem Mass on Friday. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. House private on Friday morning please. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Cardiac Risk in the Young. (C.R.Y.) and The Irish Cancer Society.

Martin Conroy, Lord Edward Street, Mountmellick and formerly Manor Road, Mountmellick. Beloved son of the late Eddie and Josie. Predeceased by his sisters Frances and Sheila. Deeply regretted by his sisters Ann Ryan (Cork) and Teresa Tounge (UK) neices, nephews, brothers-in-law Danny, Andy, and Eamon, neighbours, relatives and many friends.

Reposing Moloney’s Funeral Home, Mountmellick, on Friday from 5pm with recital of The Rosary at 6pm. Removal at 6.45pm to St. Joseph’s Church, arriving at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11am with burial after in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Family flowers only, please.
