Laois GAA release 2019 Calendar for Down Syndrome Centre Midlands

This will make a really good Christmas present and it is all for a great cause too.

Laois GAA have released a calendar for 2019 packed with pictures from a brilliant year that was 2018.

Hurling and football games across Laois and around the country itself involving the O’Moore County were captured by the brilliant Paul Dargan.

The Graiguecullen native, who is on the Laois GAA PRO Committee and also owns his own printing business Sign and Design, created and printed the calendar.

At a cost of just €7.50, it is a perfect present for any GAA fanatic and all of the proceeds from it will go the Down Syndrome Centre Midlands.

Paul said: “We had a brilliant year in 2018 on the GAA front and we wanted to do something to show this.

“From London to Croke Park to O’Moore Park – hurling and football games involving a range of teams were captured and pictures from these games are displayed here.

“The calendars are now in stock and on sale currently from county board offices, Bosco’s catering, Down Syndrome Centre Midlands and local shops around the county.

“We will also have them on sale at the O’Byrne Cup match this weekend and the Walsh Cup the following weekend.”

Paul dropped in to the LaoisToday office yesterday where we were delighted to purchase some copies.

And we can tell anyone interested in buying one to go do so because you will not be disappointed.
