Jobs in Mountmellick

German retailer Aldi are considering opening a new store and jobs in Mountmellick.

On their website Mountmellick is listed as a ‘priority area’ where they are ‘actively seeking sites’ for new stores.

Special Olympics in Laois

Laois athlete Keith Murphy and coaches Kenneth Kavanagh and Etta Hayes are ready to fly the flag for county and country in the upcoming Special Olympics Games.

Local Pantos 

Both Portlaoise Panto, Raheen Panto and Ballylinan each enjoyed huge success at each of their performances during the week.

Portarlington

It emerged this week that the Portarlington St Patrick’s Day parade has been cancelled for 2019.
