An overturned truck has forced the closure of a busy Laois road for a number of hours.
According to the AA, the old N7 (R445) is closed near the GAA club in Borris-In-Ossory is closed until approximately 12.30 pm.
Laois traffic: The R445 between Borris in Ossary and Mountrath is closed due to an overturned lorry. The road will remain closed for a number of hours, updates to follow.

This busy road is used by many commuters to access the M7 Dublin-Limerick motorway.
