Gardai appealing for information after trailer stolen on Laois border

Gardai have launched an appeal for information after a trailer was stolen from the Laois border over the weekend.

The trailer, pictured above, was stolen from a yard in Killeigh, Offaly over the weekend.

It has IFA Theftstop markings number OY 100060.

Gardai are asking anyone who sees it, to contact any Garda Station with the location where it has been spotted.

Meanwhile, the first ever National Garda Youth Awards took place in Laois at the weekend.

Over 100 young people between 13 and 21 were honoured at the ceremony on Saturday afternoon in Portlaoise’s Midlands Park Hotel.

Those who have overcome difficult circumstances or made a difference in their community were celebrated and recognised for their work.

Laois and Offaly won two national awards at the National Garda Youth Awards.

Lauren Lawlor and Adam Harte were recognised for their contributions to their community.
