WATCH: 10 Questions with Kate Conroy (Clonaslee St Manman’s)

Saturday 18 and Sunday May 19 marks a huge weekend for the Laois LGFA as 12 teams are out in action across the senior, intermediate and junior division.

Round two of the junior championship features games between Clonaslee St Manman’s and Sarsfields and The Heath versus Killeshin.

Before this, we are featuring quick fire video interviews with a representative from Clonaslee St Manman’s and the Sarsfields junior side.

The opening round saw Clonaslee St Manman’s get off to a winning start – defeating The Heath 3-12 to 2-7.

Having only entered a team last year, Clonaslee St Manman’s are looking impressive so far, and have recruited a number of new players this year – including the skillful Yvonne Comerford.

Kate Conroy attended the Laois LGFA launch night for her club and spoke about her favourite sporting memory, toughest opponent and a young player making serious tracks in her club.

Clonaslee St Manman’s play Sarsfields in round two of the junior championship in Clonaslee on Saturday May 18 at 7.15pm.
