Incredible community support sees almost €20,000 raised for victims of tragic road accident

An incredible reaction has been gathered on a Go Fund Me page for the father and son who were killed in a tragic crash on Monday, May 27.

Portlaoise man Vincent ‘Finch’ Rossi and his son Sully Rossi died in the accident in Killeigh, while little Hayley is currently in a critical condition.

She was airlifted to Crumlin Children’s Hospital in Dublin in the aftermath of the accident after suffering life-threatening injuries.

8-year-old Daniel was treated for minor injuries at the Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore in Offaly but has thankfully been released.

The GoFundMe page, which was set up just yesterday, has surpassed its €15,000 target and has gathered €19,154 as of Thursday at 3pm.

The money raised will go towards the funeral costs and also towards any help and support that Hayley and Daniel will need in the future.
