Enva are seeking to fill a number of vacancies at their base in Portlaoise.

Industrial Services Co-Ordinator

Main Purpose of Roles:

To carry out all routing, operations, administration and accounts work associated with the Industrial Services Division and to assist with other areas as and when required.

The role offers significant opportunity for progression for the right individual eager to lean within Irelands leading hazardous waste management company

Duties & Responsibilities:

Primary Duties – Industrial Services

  • Assist in the routing of all trucks and crews daily in the most cost efficient and effective manner possible, according to business/ customer needs and in conjunction with the Services & Compliance Manager.
  • Assist in the daily operations and planning and arranging of works and ongoing projects.
  • Input all data relating to works in a timely and efficient manner and in accordance with the standard procedure (i.e. accurate information regarding pricing, compliance etc.).
  • Monitor and manage the receipt and close out of all required and relevant paperwork from drivers, e.g log sheets, inspection sheets etc
  • Prepare sales invoices and support the Industrial Services finance team.
  • Deal with and address collection discrepancies immediately and re-charge in a timely manner.
  • Prepare, log, record etc. driver hours, wages, annual leave etc
  • Preparing and submitting weekly and monthly reports as required
  • Support the Industrial Services management team with the coordination, facilitation and implementation of other requirements for the division

Other Duties – Industrial Services

  • Prepare all information for month end accounts in a timely and efficient manner, as per Enva internal and Group deadlines/ timelines
  • Liaise with the finance department regarding credit checks for new customers and set up new accounts
  • Communicate any issues that arise to the Manager promptly
  • Attend meetings as required
  • Suggest & implement improvements to increase the efficiency of the department

Education/Experience required:

  • Minimum Leaving Certificate qualification
  • Additional qualification and experience in administration, transport, logistics would be a distinct advantage
  • Computer literate with very strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook and CRM databases; experience of Microsoft Navision a distinct advantage
  • Excellent telephone manner, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a wider team
  • Ability to work to daily deadlines

Industrial Services Driver/Operative

Location: Based in Portlaoise but available for Nationwide travel.

The successful candidate will play a key role in providing support to the activities of the Industrial Services division as appropriate on a day to day basis and to assist other areas of the business as and when required.

Reporting to the Industrial Services Manager, responsibilities in this varied role will include;

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position

Carry out all required Industrial Services duties including but not limited to:

  • Driving and operation of company vehicles including HGVs for the carriage of dangerous substances.
  • Full driving licence for classes B, C1, C, EB, EC1 and EC, a Certificate for drivers of vehicles carrying dangerous goods for all classes (except those relating to 1 and 7) and a forklift (reach truck) certificate.
  • Cleaning services, including tanks, interceptors, bunds, drains, septic tanks, sewers and in particular those within confined spaces
  • Operation of all equipment mechanical and electronic that may be deployed by the company in the course of its operations, as directed by your Supervisor or other management
  • Garage forecourt maintenance services
  • Decommissioning services including those relating to underground storage tanks, above ground tanks, services and pipelines
  • Oil / chemical emergency spill response and remediation services
  • Collection delivery and associated handling of materials (e.g. hazardous and non hazardous wastes, waste containers, products)
  • CCTV surveying (e.g. drains and other services)
  • Additional services developed or offered by the company

Key Requirements & Qualifications Desired:

The items below are not essential, but would offer a distinct advantage:

  • Full driving licence for classes B, C1, C, EB, EC1 and EC, a Certificate for drivers of vehicles carrying dangerous goods for all classes (except those relating to 1 and 7) and a forklift (reach truck) certificate.
  • Previous experience operating jet vacuum units or CCTV surveying equipment.
  • Previous experience in confined space entry works
