Hugely popular Clonaslee Show returns on Sunday, September 8

The Clonaslee Show has incredible history and goes back over 70 years – and it returns with what promises to be another great family day out this Sunday, September 8.

The Clonaslee Show missed out due to almost freak-like flooding conditions in 2017 but returned in fine style 12 months ago and all is in place for another great effort in 2019.

This year will be the 67th year of the show – with the Belgian Blue Pedigree Bull and Gain dog food All-Ireland championships taking place as well as a number of non-agricultural activities.

Amazing prizes and entertainment

Massive prize raffles are taking place on the day, with an astounding prize fund of €2,500 up for grabs – with a top cash prize of €700.

Bouncing castles, face painting, balloon modelling, bakery competitions and carnival rides ensure a perfect day for all the family.

And who needs the Galway Races when you could be in with a chance of winning ‘Most Suitably Dressed Lady’ on the day?

Rock on Paddy will be MC for the day and Noreside will be providing live music for crowds of all ages.

The Clonaslee Show has gone from strength to strength from its conception, halting on only a couple of occasions – once for foot and mouth and then the 2017 deluge.

With children going free and an adult ticket costing €10, the Clonaslee Show has proven to be the perfect day out for all the family for generations.

Closing dates for entries is on Friday, August 31, and you can apply online here.
