Peacefully, at the Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Wife of the late Donal. Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Pauline and Anna, sons-in-law Mick and James, grandchildren Conor, Kate, Brian, Finn, Mia and Jack, brothers Tom and Donal, sisters Brigid, Annie, Mary, Alice and Teresa, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her home from 4pm on Wednesday with Rosary at 9pm. Removal on Thursday at 11.30 am to St. Brigid’s Church, Shanahoe, for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Shanahoe.

House private on Thursday, by request.

Late of Rockfield and Bennettsbridge, Athy and Derrybeg, Clareen, Birr, Co. Offaly. Surrounded by his loving family at his daughter’s residence, Clareen, Birr, Co. Offaly. Predeceased by his loving wife and best friend Ita (Curtis née Hyland), his parents Michael and Catherine, brothers Lar and Jimmy and godchild Bernie. Deeply regretted by his loving daughter Marie, son-in-law Niall, adored grandchildren Neil-Joseph and Sean-Michael, brothers Johnny, Paddy and Brendan, sisters Betty, Peg and Pat, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at his daughter Marie and Niall Mahers’s residence (R42 YE94), Derrybeg, Clareen, Birr from 3pm on Wednesday afternoon until the conclusion of prayers, which begin at 9pm. Removal by Rigney’s Funeral Directors on Thursday morning, to arrive at Seir Kieran’s Church, Clareen for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Seir Kieran’s Cemetery. House private Thursday morning please .

Anne Hughes (née McEnanay)
Oaklawn, Portlaoise, Laois / Shercock, Cavan

Hughes (nee McEnanay) OakLawn, Portlaoise and late of Shercock, Co. Cavan, 19th September. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Anne, beloved wife of William and dearly loved mum to Karen, Jane, Annette and Niall. Cherished grandmother to her ten grandchildren. Deeply regretted by her loving family, sisters in law, sons in law, Simon, David and Andrew. daughter in law Jacinta, nephews, nieces, relative and friends.

Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home from 6 pm on Wednesday evening with rosary at 8 pm. Requiem Mass at 10 am on Thursday morning in SS Peter and Paul’s church, followed by interment in SS Peter and Paul’s cemetery. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to The Oncology Unit St James’ Hospital.

James Joseph (Jimmy) Hennessy
Maclone, Rosenallis, Laois

James Joseph (better known as Jimmy) Hennessy, Maclone, Rosenallis, Co. Laois and formerly of Nottingham, U.K. died 21st September 2019 peacefully at home in the company of his family. Predeceased by his son James. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Rosemary and sons Justin and partner Barbara, Anthony and wife Nathalie, grandchildren, Jack, Kane, Owen, Connor, Oliver, Chloe and Jada-Rose, sisteres Sheila, Bernadette and Elizabeth, brothers-in-law Jim, John, Martin and Jim, nieces and nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends.

House private until arrangements are announced.
