Emergency services are at the scene of an accident on the M7 motorway in Laois after a trailer overturned.
The accident occurred this morning on the M7 southbound between Junction 14 at Monasterevin and Junction 15 at the Gandon Inn near Emo.
A trailer carrying steel bars and being pulled by a jeep overturned while in the overtaking lane.
Traffic is down to one lane and motorists are advised to be cautious.
There are no reports of injuries.
Elsewhere, there is a breakdown on the M7 northbound at Junction 23 Moneygall.
Again care is advised in the area.
