Peter Daly, Westfield, Castletown, Portlaoise, Co. Laois. Dec. 10. 2019 (peacefully) at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his wife Mary (May) (nee Grenham). Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his loving children, Geraldine, Padraig, Desmond, Donal, Gerty and Martina, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his daughter Geraldine’s residence Westfield, Castletown (EirCode R32 FK84) this Wednesday evening (Dec. 11th.) from 5 o’c with rosary in the house at 8 o’c. Removal this Thursday morning (Dec. 12th.) at 11.30 o’c to St. Edmund’s Church, Castletown (EirCode R32 KT22) for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, with burial immediately afterwards in Churchtown Cemetery, Castletown.

Marian House, Killeigh, Offaly / Clonaslee, Laois

David Lawlor, Marian House, Killeigh, Co Offaly and formerly of Cloonagh, Clonaslee, Co. Laois.

Died on the 9th of Decemeber 2019, after a short illness in the Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore, Co. Offaly.

Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Ursula (nee Dinneen).

David was the adored father of Peadar, Ann, Niamh and Brian and cherished brother-in-law of Sr. Mary Dinneen. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Elsa, Aoife, David, MJ, Odhran, Cormac and Freya, daughters-in-law Gillian and Caitriona, son-in-law Ennio, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his home, Marian House, Killeigh, Co. Offaly (Eircode: R35 FF97) on Wednesday the 11th of December from 3pm with Rosary at 8pm.

Funeral Mass on Thursday morning the 12th of December at 10.00am in St. Patrick’s Church, Killeigh, Co. Offaly (Eircode: R35 H343) followed by burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Craughwell, Galway / Mountrath, Laois

Cheltenham, England. Craughwell, Co. Galway and Mountrath, Co. Laois. Margaret, predeceased by her loving husband John. Dearest mother to Caroline, Julie, Michael and Christopher. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sons, daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, daughter-in-law Sue, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and her many friends both at home and in Cheltenham.

Reposing at Cawleys funeral Home Craughwell (H91 W2V3) on Wednesday Dec 11th from 6 o clock with removal at 7 o clock to St. Colman’s Church, Craughwell. Mass on Thursday at 12 noon, burial afterwards in New Cemetery, Athenry, Co. Galway.

STAGG (neé Malone) (Turret Road, Palmerstown, Dublin 20 and formerly of Coolbanagher, Emo, Co. Laois), December 10th. 2019. (peacefully), at home. Mary, beloved wife of the late Joseph (Joe) and dear mother of Patrick, Joseph, Jimmy, Breda, Peadar and Mary. Pre-deceased by her brothers Michael and William. Sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters, brother Ned, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her home on Wednesday evening (11th. December) from 4.00pm until 8.00pm. Removal to St. Philomena’s Church, Palmerstown on Thursday morning (12th. December) arriving for Requiem Mass at 10.00am followed by burial in Esker Cemetery, Lucan. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to The Peter McVerry Trust.

Edward (Eddie) Bennett
Voilet Bank, Clonbullogue, Offaly / Laois

Formerly Tarbert, Raheen, Co. Laois. Eddie passed away, peacefully, in his 94th year, in Naas General Hospital, in the company of his loving wife and family. Eddie will be sadly missed by his wife Betty, his sons James and Richard, his daughters Elizabeth (Dempsey), Brigid, Colette (Hyland), Anne and predeceased by his daughter Teresa, his grandchildren, sisters Katie, Una and Mary, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Eddie Rest in Peace.

Reposing at his residence from 6 o’clock on Wednesday evening with recital of the Rosary at 9 o’clock, arriving Thursday to The Sacred Heart Church, Clonbullogue, for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Interment to follow in Coolegagan Cemetery. Family flowers only, by request. House private on Thursday morning, please.

Peadar Gorman, Factory Street, Mounthrath. Died 7th of December at home. Deeply regretted by his sister Josie, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, family circle and many friends.

Reposing Moloney’s Funeral Home, Mountmellick, from 4.30pm on Tuesday until removal at 6.15pm to St Fintan’s Church, Mountrath, arriving at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 10am. Burial afterwards in St. Fintan’s Cemetery.
