Peacefully, in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Brookhaven Nursing Home Ballyragget, Co. Kilkenny. Predeceased by his brother Jimmy, sisters Bridie, Rita and Mai. Deeply regretted by his nephews Tony and Pat, their wives Cathriona and Sandra, sister-in-law Mary, grandnieces, grandnephew, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Brookhaven Nursing Home from 3.00pm on Sunday with Rosary at 7.00pm. Removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballacolla on Monday morning for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Cashin, Ned. Cappagh North, Portlaoise. Died 31st January 2020 peacefully at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Deeply regretted by his brother Dinny, sister Bridie Scott, sister-in-law Maura, his nephew and his life long friend Denis Troy, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home on Saturday, February 1st, at 7:30pm with rosary at 9pm. Funeral arriving to St. Fintan’s Church, Ballyfin on Sunday morning for 10am Requiem Mass followed by interment in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Ballyfin

Robert Grace, Woodbrook, Mountrath, Co.Laois. Died 31st January 2020, in the tender loving care of matron and staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital, Mountmellick. Sadly missed by his family and staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital.

Funeral Mass on Sunday morning at 11.0’clock, in St. Vincent’s Hospital Oratory Mountmellick, followed by Burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery Mountrath.

Paul McEntee, Portlaoise Road, Mountrath, Co.Laois. Died 31st January 2020, peacefully at home, predeceased by his wife Frances and son Graham. Sadly missed by his daughter Debbie, son Dave, extended family, relatives and friends.

Cremation will take place on Tuesday 4th February 2020, in Newlands Cross Crematorium at 12 noon.

Deeply regretted by her brother Tom (Moyanna), sister Imelda Lynch (Luggacurran), brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, all her nephews, nieces, especially John and Marie, grandnieces and grandnephews, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral Home, Mountmellick on Saturday from 4pm Recital of The Rosary at 5.30. Removal at 6.30pm to St Paul’s Church, Emo arriving at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Sunday at 11am Cremation Service will take place later.

Mary Louise Ryan
Lowhill, Ballinakill, Laois

Louise died suddenly in Nollamara, Western Australia and is formerly of Lowhill, Ballinakill, Co. Laois. Beloved daughter of Mary Ryan (nee Hennessey) and the late Kieran and sister to Michael. She is survived by her heartbroken mother and brother also deeply regretted by her aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and large circle of friends.

Reposing at Phelans Funeral Home, Durrow, Co.Laois from 5pm on Monday evening and Prayers at 6.30pm. Removal at 7.00pm to The Church of the Assumption, Ballyouskill arriving at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass at 11am on Tuesday morning followed by internment in the adjoining cemetery. Donations, if desired, to The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust.

Sadly mourned by her loving family John and Breda (O’Brien, Ballycrinode), daughter-in-law Frances, son-in-law Michael, grandchildren Cora, Oisín, Aoife, Mary, Niamh, David, Patrick and Colm, sister-in-law Mary, nephew, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her residence (Castlefleming) R32C573 on Sunday from 2pm with rosary at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Monday at 11.30 in Killasmeestia Church followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Edward (Ted) Delaney

Delaney Edward (Ted) died peacefully on January 30th 2020 in his 89th year in Portlaoise General Hospital in the company of his loving family. Predeceased by his wife Catherine and son Patrick. Sadly missed by his loving sons Ted, Rory, Billy, Perry, and Larry, daughters Ann, Breda, Frances, Concepta, and Veronica, his sister Kathleen, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at The Presentation Chapel, Stradbally (R32 WRH9) Friday 31st at 3 o’clock with recital of the Rosary at 8 o’clock Friday evening. Removal by Whelehan’s Funeral Director’s on Saturday to Arrive to Saint Michael’s Church, Timahoe for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Interment to follow in Saint Michael’s Cemetery. Family flowers only. Passed away peacefully, at his home, on January 28th, 2020, in his 83rd year.

Predeceased by his wife Annie Claire. He will be sadly missed by his sons Jim (Seamus), Joseph and Martin, daughters-in-law Edel, Susan and Amelia, grandchildren Joselyn, Sean, Clare, Anna, Luke, April, James, Cormac and Saoirse, sister Ann, brother Joe, sister-in-law Bridie, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends & neighbours.

Reposing at his home (R93 FT99) from 4p.m on Thursday with Prayers at 9p.m. Reposing on Friday from 12 noon with removal at 6.45p.m that evening to The Holy Cross Church, Killeshin, arriving at 7.30p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 Noon followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Parking available at Killeshin Community Center (R93 CX34) and a shuttle bus will operate to Jimmy’s residence every 15 minutes.

Reposing in Droimnín Nursing Home from 6pm Wednesday, 29th January, Rosary at 8pm. Funeral arriving to St. Brigid’s Church, Rosenallis on Thursday morning for Requiem Mass at 12pm. Burial afterwards in St. Brigid’s Cemetery.
