LIVE BLOG: Follow all of the action as the Laois hurlers take on Carlow

The Laois hurlers’ busy season continues tonight when they host Carlow in a must-win relegation game in Division 1 of the Allianz Hurling League.

Both teams have lost all three games in the competition and the loser of tonight’s clash will be certain to finish bottom of Division 1B.

That would mean facing a relegation playoff against Westmeath (more than likely) in two weeks time with the loser of that game making the drop to Division 2 for 2021.

Laois have been beaten by Wexford, Dublin and Clare in their three games to date while Carlow have lost to Clare, Kilkenny and Dublin.

There is rarely much between the sides and last year they drew when they met in Netwatch Cullen Park.

Laois have made two changes to the side that were beaten 0-17 to 0-9 by Clare last weekend with John Lennon and Aaron Dunphy coming in instead of Ryan Mullaney and Stephen Bergin.

The game throws in at 7pm in MW Hire O’Moore Park and we’ll have full updates in our Live Blog below.
